In our case, we have our network setup so that SIP phones have a firewall between them and the internet, and within our network they are segmented with access control lists from guest networks and other places where security problems are more likely to come. Yealink has good reasons for their default settings, to prevent spam SIP calls or other security issues.

However out of the box, Yealink phones will only talk their registered SIP server. Lansweeper does support scanning via SIP. We can improve this by changing some settings on the phones.
